Job Responsibilities:
Must be a proven leader with extensive experience as a Technical Project Manager who uses their team building, communication, planning and organizational skills to proactively manage software development activities to bring projects in on time and within budget
Communicate status and critical path aspects of the project; delivers messages that are clear and concise, tailored to a variety of audiences from individual team members to executive management.
Establishes and manages realistic and committed project schedules; taking into consideration deadlines, dependencies, resources and costs when making changes and decisions to a schedule.
Proactively identifies risks to project development and schedule
Monitors and drives resolution of issues.
Provide project leadership for critical initiatives
Project Manager will help provide the knowledge; leadership, enthusiasm and vision necessary to ensure multiple development projects have superstar quality, project management oversight and control.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree and more than 3 years proven software development project management experience demonstrating: accurate and effective communication skills, accurate and realistic schedules, proactive risk identification and mitigation, appropriate customer expectations setting and ability to drive and navigate projects to completion.
2. Position requires experience in understanding system architectures, coding methodologies and technical system interfaces.
3. Position requires expertise at driving projects through the entire software development lifecycle, from inception to launch, while creating realistic schedules, proactively setting customer expectations, identifying and managing risks and bringing order from chaos.
4. Hands on experience as an software development project manager
5. Expertise at driving projects thru entire software development life cycle, creating schedules, managing expectations and risks
6. Good communication & people skills in a fast paced and changing environment
7. Ability to manage several projects of a highly complex nature simultaneously, with local and remote teams and external partners
8. Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
9. MS Project required
Skills Desired:
1.Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
2.Bachelors Degree related to Information Technology is preferred
3.A track record of overseeing the project management of multiple projects
4.Interactive Television or broadcast technologies experience is a plus
