Major DutiesGeneral
Create, organize, administrate, and supervise Human Resources Department
Develop and implement human resource strategies that support achievement of the club goals
Regularly monitor status and adjust strategies as appropriate
Other related duties, as assigned
Recruiting
Work with managers to identify position requirements
Interview, recruit and employ staff that demonstrate a good fit with Jinji Lake Culture. Handle performance evaluations, termination of work contract and wage and salary surveys
Build and maintain relationship with potential labor sources
Maintain confidentially with all employee’s files
Compensation & Benefits
Set up the employee handbook including staff benefits, labor relations investigation in case of grievances, leave entitlement, sick leave etc.
Contact government office regarding social security fund, workmen’s compensation Fund, unions, etc.
Work with the Finance Manager to ensure the approved operating budgets for personnel are maintained
Associate Relations / Policy
Apply National labor law
Obtain government approvals as necessary
Plan Personnel policies and procedures, and all Personnel forms
Coordinate response to legal claims regarding the employment relationships
Take care of staff canteen, staff lockers, staff clinic and staff board as applicable, and organize various staff activities such as staff party, staff awards and staff’s trip
Encourage recognition of employee’s contribution by coordinating a club-wide recognition programs
Follow new government edicts on HR policies and inform the General Manager the significance of these changes, with suggested costs and benefits
People Development
Counsel employees on effective ways to communicate and reinforce performance expectations and resolve employment related issues
Encourage employees to explore new roles within the club through personal/professional development
Training
Organize, prepare and monitor the company training plan
Prepare training budget, training reports
Conduct training needs analysis
Prepare monthly training activity report
Compile department training schedules
Design the training programs
Evaluate training class report form
Prepare and coordinate employee retraining
Conduct new employee orientation program and ensure employees to understand expectations and job responsibilities
Notify attendance of training courses
Ensure achievement of Club training standards
Focus on Club service for members satisfaction
Conduct training program coaching and counseling
Perform related duties as assigned or as necessary

Job RequirementsCompetency requirements
Planning: Skilled in determining whether tasks should be attempted, identifying the most effective way of completing the task, and preparing how to overcome difficulties
Budget management: Skill in developing and adhering to department budget
Coaching: develop and guide others in professional growth and performance enhancement through assuring clarity of goals, employing reflective listening skills and facilitating the generation of options and action planning
Be able to prepare reports, memos, correspondence, employment agreement and contracts, and analyses, using various software packages
Be able to cope with strict deadlines and time demands
Be able to interface with Club membership when necessary
Working experience requirements
Industrial Working Experience:
Five star hotel or service industry experience is preferred
Major Field Working Experiences:
5 years of professional HR manager experience with a minimum of 2 years as Assistant HR Manager or above.
Overseas Working Experiences:
Not a must
Education
BA or equivalent in Human Resources Management
Professional qualification
Working Expertise in Chinese Labor Laws and Practices
Foreign language Skills
Fluent in spoken and written English
Computer skills
Microsoft Office
