[font=Verdana]搜狐IT消息】10月31日下午,何庆源宣布从诺基亚西门子离职,并同时发出离职公开信,以下为其撰写的公开信全文:[/font]
[font=Verdana]亲爱的同事们:[/font]
[font=Verdana] 我已经服务于诺基亚和诺基亚西门子网络公司7年时间,在过去七年中既愉快又富有挑战性,我们有一支伟大的团队,我们的士气很高,我们不断地取得了出色的业绩。

[font=Verdana] 1988年以来,我一直工作在大中国电信市场,过去的20年我目睹了其巨大的增长和成功。2006年以来,我一直在试图找出这个市场将走向何方?竞争日需激烈、本土厂商参与到竞争中来,利润也趋于下降。几年前,谁相信华为会成为全球主要的竞争对手?时代已经发生了变化,中国成为第三个把人送到太空中的国家。21世纪,企业的商业模式将是基于中国和印度这样国家的研发、供应链、制造业和服务业,并投资于各自分布在全球的市场。NSN已经采取了一些措施,但是还是有很多工作需要我们去做。[/font]
[font=Verdana] 我一直大力倡导的尽早发放3G牌照,正因为这个,媒体称我为“3G总裁”。在我看来,尽早发放3G牌照更有利国外厂商,而现在当地供应商竞争力加强,市场竞争更加激烈。我将不参加这一令人振奋的3G战斗,但我确信在CEO白伟贤、首席市场运营官卡泽力(Christoph Caselitz)、中国区总裁张志强的领导下,NSN将取得更大的成功。[/font]

[font=Verdana] Dear Colleagues[/font]
[font=Verdana] After seven years of service with Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks, I will be leaving the company at the end of October. The past seven years was both challenging and enjoyable, we had a great team, our morale was high and we continued to achieve excellent business results.[/font]
[font=Verdana] I have been working in the Greater China Telecommunications market since 1988; I have witnessed its tremendous growth and success in the past 20 years. Ever since 2006, I have been trying to figure out where this market is going? Competition is increasing with the emerging local players and profit is decreasing, a few years ago, who would believe Huawei will become a major global competitor? Time has changed, China became the third country to put a man in space, and we would be naive to think that technology will continue to be a barrier for Chinese vendors. The new business model in the 21st century is for companies to anchor their R&D, supply chain, manufacturing and services in China/India, while investing in distribution in the respective global markets. NSN has taken some initiatives in this direction, but there are much more that we need to do.[/font]
[font=Verdana] I have been a strong advocate of early 3G licensing in China while we were still part of Nokia, for this reason I earned the title of "3G President" from the media. In my view, the earlier 3G comes the better position the foreign vendors will be in, now the local vendors have developed their strength and capability, competition will be much tougher. I will not be part of this exciting 3G battle but I am sure NSN will do well with the strong support from Simon, Christoph and under the leadership of ZZ.[/font]
[font=Verdana] I will be starting a new chapter in my life, I wish to spend more time to learn about other industries by continuing to serve as Independent Director on Boards of US and Chinese Public companies: Pentair Inc. (NYSE: PNR) in the water business, Owens Illinois Inc. (NYSE: OI) in the glass packaging business, and Sinosteel, China's largest mining, equipment and servicing company serving the steel industry.[/font]
[font=Verdana] I have been serving the Asia America MultiTechnology Association Beijing Chapter as one of the Founder, Director of the Board and Vice President since 2004 ( [url=http://www.aamachina.com.cn/][color=#0000ff]www.aamachina.com.cn[/color][/url] ), AAMA is a 30 years old Association from the Silicon Valley. I will continue to serve in this capacity with the Association's mission to help to nurture China 's next generation young entrepreneurs in the Information and Communications Technology industry. I am also working with Venture Capital funds under a private company call Kiina Group to invest in Chinese start up companies in this industry; our portfolio companies include test equipment, Web 2.0 Internet community, mobile software, mobile security, customized mobile devices and telecom services.[/font]
[font=Verdana] I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Nokia and NSN Management for their support over the past years. More important, I would like to thank those of you who worked with me during this time, your dedication and support had brought Nokia and NSN to new heights in the Greater China market. It is always sad to say goodbye, but I am sure our paths will cross again in the future.[/font]
