[U][B]JOB DESCRIPTION [/B][/U]
Partner with the China sales organization (Enterprise and Service Providers) on significant opportunities to ensure that all deals meet corporate guidelines, are properly packaged in line with Product Marketing Group and that order management processes are in place to execute commitments. You will also interact with business units, legal, accounting, professional services, global accounts, manufacturing, customer service, and finance. You will be the focal point for field sales, sales management, and corporate.
[U][B]Major Tasks / Responsibilities [/B][/U]
* Financial Evaluation & Decision Support on Projects (Deals/Bids) Provide Analysis and Recommendation to Management
* Packaging and Pricing of Deals/Bids (Bundles, Rebates, Credits, Promotions)
* Understand the concept, the packaging of products, Promotions, Rebates, and Trade-in.
* Provide advise on appropriate deal structure and business model to suit Sales strategy for different accounts
* Understand Channels, Offer Integration deals. Understand Bid management.
* Understand Business Units Products and Pricing - Incl. Future Prod. Maintain good working relationship with Product Marketing Manager.
* Booking Orders & Revenue Recognition. Ensure Bookings and Revenue Recognition are in line with Company’s policies and procedures
* Provide Monthly/Quarterly Deals Desk Reports for Management Analysis of Discount by Partner/End user
* Manage Demo Loan Process & Approvals
* Liaise with Import/Export Company
[B][U]Qualification [/U][/B]
* The person must have a good interpersonal skills as he/she deals with people from Sales, Finance, Marketing, Support and Services in the locality and Headquarters but at the same time can be firm and professional to maintain the best interest of the deal for the company.
* Knowledge and experience in Sarbanes Oxley, Revenue Recognition, Project Management, Bid Management/Offer Integration are advantageous.
* BS/BA/MBA in Finance/Accounting or equivalent, 6 to 8 years relevant experience in fast-paced high-tech environment.
* Excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills
* Background in pricing, contracts, financing, leasing, revenue recognition, sales are beneficial |
