Expectations- C0 W3 x5 V$ h* a* P
Begin each training session with two charts posted side by side on the wall.
" T9 Z" p8 y6 s9 f* a2 L, h! |Title one "Expectations", and the other, "Expectations met or Exceeded". 7 J1 j. K* w& `8 H7 i' ]' B
Give all participants a supply of large Post-Its (preferably in bright colours).
/ }0 U; b6 z0 k2 Q& L: vEarly in the training, invite the group to write their expectations on the Post-Its and post them on the "Expectations" chart.
, Y" f- X6 T$ ~4 eRead out all of the expectations for the group and then ask them to move their Post-Its from the "Expectations" chart to the "Expectations Met or Exceeded" chart at appropriate times throughout the training session.

For those that do remain, spend some time helping to meet or exceed each expectation until participants feel comfortable moving it to the other chart. |
