以上問題在於,X's indicators與X之間關係的估計會因選擇Y and Z or 其他不同的構念而不同,但在整個nomological network來看,應該是X影響Y and Z,讓Y and Z來影響X的參數不太合理。( b+ |* H2 k& J- ` Y, w/ L
3 j0 ]% L8 f% o3 d因此,設計問卷時加上兩題的overall measurement當成reflective indicator好像會合理一點,如此這個構念會更有彈性放在模型內的任何地方。
